Operation Thoofan 2.0
As part of the state-level inauguration of Operation Thoofan 2.0, Thoofan Flag was hoisted at the Meppayur Grama Panchayat Office by Grama Panchayat President Smt. Nibitha T.
The ceremony was attended by Jasla Kommileri, Chairperson of the Health and Education Standing Committee; Shri. Lijish, Chairperson of the Welfare Standing Committee; Kumari Anooja, Chairperson of the Development Standing Committee; along with Grama Panchayat representatives, the Secretary, and staff members.
Following the flag-hoisting ceremony, Grama Panchayat President Smt. Nibitha T. administered the Thoofan pledge. The distribution of Thoofan badges was inaugurated by Meppayur Sub-Inspector of Police Shri. Sreejith P.K., who presented badges to the Grama Panchayat Secretary Kumari Avya and others.
Members of the Kudumbashree CDS, Haritha Karma Sena, Meppayur High School Scouts and Guides, youth groups, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, teachers, and service pensioners participated in the programme.
