The First Anganwadi-cum-Crèche in Melady Block, at Meppayyur Grama Panchayat
The first Anganwadi-cum-Crèche in Melady Block has become operational at the Narakkode Amina Umma Memorial Anganwadi in Meppayyur Grama Panchayat.
The function was presided over by K. T. Rajan, President of Meppayyur Grama Panchayat. Suresh Changadath, President of Melady Block Panchayat, inaugurated the facility. Sabina Beegum, District Child Development Officer, explained the project.
P. Prasanna, Vice President of Melady Block Panchayat; N. P. Shobha, Vice President of Meppayyur Grama Panchayat; V. P. Rama, Standing Committee Chairperson; Rajashree, CDPO; and Ward Members Shri Nilayam Vijayan, Praseetha K. M., Prasanth, Rabia Edathikandi, and V. P. Biju, addressed the gathering.
Representatives of various political parties, including K. K. Kunhiraman, E. Ashokan, M. K. Ramachandran, V. C. Vineesh Kumar, C. Gopalan, and K. M. Gopalan, also spoke on the occasion.
Nayana, ICDS Supervisor, welcomed the gathering, and Nijola proposed the vote of thanks.
