Operation Thufan 2.0: Thufan Flag Hoisted at Meppayyur Grama Panchayat
As part of the state-level inauguration of Operation Thufan 2.0, the Thufan flag was hoisted at the Meppayyur Grama Panchayat Office by Smt. Nibitha T., President of Meppayyur Grama Panchayat.
The ceremony was attended by Smt. Jasla Kommileri, Chairperson of the Health and Education Standing Committee; Shri. Lijeesh, Chairperson of the Welfare Standing Committee; Kumari Anooja, Chairperson of the Development Standing Committee; elected representatives of the Grama Panchayat; the Panchayat Secretary; and other staff members.
Following the flag-hoisting ceremony, Smt. Nibitha T., President of Meppayyur Grama Panchayat, led the Thufan pledge.
As part of the programme, Shri. Sreejith P. K., Sub-Inspector of Police, Meppayyur, distributed the Thufan badges, presenting the first badge to Ms. Avya, Grama Panchayat Secretary.
Representatives and members of Kudumbashree CDS, Haritha Karma Sena, Meppayyur High School Scouts and Guides, youth organisations, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, teachers, and service pensioners also participated in the programme.
The event highlighted the collective participation of various sections of the community in Operation Thufan 2.0 and its objectives.
